Trailer for Zardoz (1974)
Set in the year AD 2293, on a post-apocalyptic Earth which is inhabited by the Brutals and Exterminators who worship a god named Zardoz. Zardoz is a giant, flying, hollow stone head that teaches:
"The gun is good. The penis is evil. The penis shoots seeds, and makes new life to poison the Earth with a plague of men, as once it was, but the gun shoots death, and purifies the Earth of the filth of brutals. Go forth ... and kill!"Zed (Sean Connery) is an Exterminator that stows away inside the head of Zardoz which transports him to a secluded community called the Vortex. Zed discovers the civilized beings that protect themselves with an invisible force-field. This is where the immortal Eternals lead a pleasant undisturbed existence. Until now.
